The Assembly is a physical gathering of young would-be political office holders vying for elective offices across Nigeria and the African continent to build their capacity and forge solidarity. The Assembly (Nigeria) is a thoughtful gathering of young and vibrant leaders running for elective office in the 2023 elections in Nigeria. The Assembly by its design is a platform for budding young leaders who are ready to serve in public office at the House of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senate levels to connect, enlist, and build generational cohesion in their quest to serve in public office.
The Assembly seeks to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and networks for running effective political campaigns and winning elections. The Assembly platform will provide young people running for elective office support through online and offline channels in areas such as communications, political campaign design, grassroots mobilization, campaign messaging, manifesto design, policy formulation, election law and adjudication, electoral operations, campaign structuring.
The Assembly will support young women and men drawn from the 18 political parties across Nigeria The Assembly is limited to young men and women between 25 – 40 years from Nigeria.
