In preparation for the 2023 Off-Cycle Governorship Elections in Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa States, ReadyToLeadAfrica (RTLA) is proud to launch Project KIB under its FollowTheResult Initiative (FTP). This project is designed to ensure electoral transparency, monitor election processes, and promote accountability throughout the entire election cycle.

FollowTheResult (FTP) is an initiative by RTLA that leverages technology and civic engagement to track election results and facilitate real-time reporting of electoral outcomes, while empowering citizens to be active participants in the process. Project KIB is specifically focused on the 2023 Off-Cycle Governorship Elections in Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa, and aims to provide independent election monitoring and accurate data to citizens, election observers, and stakeholders.

Project KIB Objectives:

  • To track and report election results in real-time across polling units and collation centers in Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa States

  • To monitor the electoral process for compliance with electoral laws and to ensure the integrity of the results

  • To engage citizens and stakeholders with timely, accurate updates on the election, helping reduce misinformation and ensure transparency

Key Features of Project KIB (under FollowTheResult Initiative):

  • Real-Time Tracking of Election Results: Project KIB will offer live updates on election results as they are announced from polling units and collation centers across Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa States.
